I swear, I still knit! In class, even. It’s a good semester for knitting in class, aside from yoga but that’s awesome on its own. I can handle not knitting there. I even knit at rehearsal (and had a hysterical moment of sitting on the couch in the green room knitting a sock while wearing hand knit socks and the mostly-finished Lade Eleanore Stole. It was funny, but sadly no one had a camera). So, after a long break, I finally have pictures of knitting!
The Lady Eleanore Stole!!!!! All I have to do is add the fringe and I’ll be done. I’m in love with this thing, it’s HUGE and beautiful. I’ve had so many compliments on it, I can’t wait to actually wear it outside during the day. Sadly it’s been too warm to wear outside since I’ve finished it. Oh well, it will be cold soon.
Since I’m lazy, I’ll just post a big gallery. Have a look!
There are finished socks, updated MS3 pictures and the squares for the Mrs. Weasley Blanket (there is now another red square. I have one more skein of purple yarn meant for the blanket and then I’ll be out of what I have. Sadly, it’s not enough for the blanket. I guess I’ll just have to get more ;).
Now, you may be asking yourself about the sheep featured in most of the photos. Well, the sheep was a present to me from my lovely roommate and she sits on our coffee table and minds the yarn and knitting magazines. We love her and call her “sheepy” for now. Who knows if the name will stick, but it’s still cute.
And now I’m off to eat some lunch before my 3 hour chemistry lab (oh yeah, I’m not allowed to knit in lab, but that makes sense. Who would want dangerous chemicals around their yarn?). Wish me luck!
The new Knitty has some great stuff! Good job Knitty!
